CSO Coordination for sustainable WASH services
Our Mission is to enhance coordination, transparency, accountability, advocacy and knowledge sharing for provision of high quality standards and sustainable water and environmental sanitation services in Malawi.

Welcome to Our Website

The water and sanitation sector in Malawi has for long been characterized by inadequate coordination between and within the Government of Malawi, external donors and civil society organizations (CSOs). With few exceptions, Malawian and International NGOs in the sector tend to work in an uncoordinated manner and develop programmes and policies which fail to acknowledge other initiatives being undertaken. This has led to duplication of work, inequity, wasting of resources and organizations working in silos and often not in tandem with Government policies and guidelines.
